You can’t launder foreign campaign donations by selling things at wholesale prices.

I’m curious with all the nonsense Trump and Vance are spewing about Springfield if Ohio starts to come into play. I may be dreaming, they were up 8 or 9 points before the debate, but I haven’t seen any new numbers since.
Dispatch, suspect is asking if we know who they are. Contact the local Alzheimer’s care facilities, see if they have any runaways.
It doesn’t even matter. Even if Taylor Swift never makes another dollar, she’s still set for life.
Such projection. Trying to drastically change the rules less than two months before Election Day, that’s rigging.
The finest watch commander Mathnet ever had.
“You are the least useful steam engine I’ve ever heard of!”
“Ah, but you have heard of me.”
Strong disfavoravilty can also translate to enthusiasm. I know a lot of people turned up at the polls last time because they were meh on Biden but very much against Trump.
Usually Gwen Shotwell, SpaceX COO, is good at keeping Elon in check and not screwing up SpaceX business. I wonder what happened this time.
Sad, from a nostalgia point of view, but probably a win, environmentally. We have a pipeline to recycle plastic bottles, the mylar pouches are pretty much all single use.
The long term solution is replacing the Electoral College with a nationwide ranked choice system, so you can vote your heart with your first pick but not ruin the chances of the hold-your-nose major candidate you can live with over the other guy. With this in place, the smaller parties can build momentum without being seen as spoilers and maybe actually get somewhere.
My understanding is that debates are exempt from the equal air time laws, so if Trump no-shows, it just turns into a bunch of 90 minutes of free Harris air time.
Colbert is not a conservative, he just played one on TV.
I love how, despite Musk’s best efforts, 3/4 of the internet still calls the site Twitter.
The use of Russian engines on the Atlas dates back to a Clinton program after the collapse of the USSR. With the Soviet Union no longer able to pay its rocket scientists, it was thought that it was better that the United States pay them for their expertise rather than some other more hostile government gain access to their knowledge.
The way this usually works out is you loose all the good employees and you’re left with the dregs who were unable to find another remote position in time.
The 90’s Star Wars arcade game would be nice, but it’d require a licensing deal with Disney, so it’s probably never going to happen as a Yakuza minigame.
The Yakuza games are very serious crime dramas with absolutely bonkers side quests and minigames.
I think this policy is a mistake. I think the US should be moving away with tipping, and this will just make it harder. European restaurants work this way and don’t seem to be suffering.
I hate having to judge a waitress, barber, or driver after receiving service then doing math on the bill. Worse yet is housekeeping at a hotel; you’re expected to leave them a tip when you don’t even know what kind of job they’re going to do. Just charge me on the bill whatever it costs to pay these people fairly and stop making me make up the difference.
Ah, yes, a few more lanes, that’ll fix traffic.
